North East Valleys Food and Wine will successfully provide and market a unique, high quality wine and food experience for those visiting and living in the North East of Victoria. Mutually supportive linkages and alliances will be established with other key organisations in Legends Wine & High Country, as well as other interstate regions and attractions, to ensure that North East Victoria Food and Wine is widely known and attracts visitors to the whole of the region.
The North East Valleys will be recognised as Australia's premier short break food & wine destination, offering a true regional experience: welcoming villages, spectacular scenery, a diversity of produce and four distinct seasons. Our activities will provide tourism benefits for the whole of Legends Wine & High Country.
North East Valleys takes in the wine regions of Alpine Valleys, Beechworth, Glenrowan, King Valley and Rutherglen. Key towns within the region include Wangaratta, Milawa, Rutherglen, Myrtleford, Bright, Yackandandah, Mt Beauty and Glenrowan.
